We are suckers for (at least) two things here: Oregon Black Walnut and purple guitars. We were lucky enough to grab a divinely figured slab of said Walnut from a local supplier a few years ago. Half of it went to a custom build now in residence in the Finger Lakes. The other half provides this Youngblood with a distinctive singing midrange. Like its sibling, this guitar has a dazzling figured Maple top. We couldn't help ourselves. We purpled it. Gold hardware adds a touch of class to this instrument, and Lollar P90s make finding the right tone a breeze.
